Our Clinic

Clane Medical Practice is a dynamic, vibrant, friendly practice located in the heart of Clane. It is newly  established by Dr. Hilda Cummins and Dr. Oxana Bailey. They have been working together in another medical practice since 2013 and this new practice will build on the already very strong and established partnership foundations. 

How our Team works for you:

The team at Clane Medical Practice includes doctors, nurses and administration staff who strive to provide the highest standards of service to all of their patients. We provide a working environment in which partners and staff achieve excellence in their work. The goals of each and every staff member is to provide:

- Ease of access to doctors,
- Same day or next day appointments
- Choice of doctors
- Computerised recording

Computerised medical records gives the patient the        flexibility to see any of the doctors in the practice as doctors can access all of the patient history at the touch of a button. All of the information is secure, clear and easily accessed by us when required. Back up is completed each evening and all of this is encrypted for security.

Good communication and comprehensive medical record keeping is the cornerstone of quality healthcare provision and is practised by all staff of Clane Medical Practice. 

All our medical staff participate fully and actively in the professional bodies which cater for General Practitioners.

All our staff at Clane Medical Practice have signed a Contract of Confidentiality.

Our Team

Dr. Hilda Cummins. MB, BCH, BAO, MICGP, MRCPI, DOWH

Co-founder of Clane Medical Practice, Dr. Hilda Cummins is orginally from Kildare. Dr. Hilda studied medicine at University College Dublin. Upon qualifying she worked in medical jobs in the Mater Hospital, Beamount Hospital, St. Johns, Limerick, Our Lady of Lourdes, Drogheda, which was the time during which she obtained her membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.


Following a year working as an emergency department registrar in Gosford, Australia, Hilda returned home to pursue the GP training scheme in Sligo. During this time she studied psychiatry,  obstetrics and gynaechology, surgery, emergency department medicine and trained in multiple  GP Positions following her qualificaton as a GP. Hilda has been working as a GP now for the past 11 years.

Dr. Oxana Bailey. MB, BCH, BAO, MICGP, DRCOG


Co-founder of Clane Medical Practice, Dr. Oxana Bailey studied medicine in Trinity College Dublin. 


She graduated with honours and then worked as an intern and took general medical training in major hospitals such as St. James's and Tallaght. 


She then did her GP training in the Trinity College GP Training Scheme and since graduation in 2013 has worked as a GP. 


Dr. Oxana's speciality is in the area of womens health and she has obtained a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. 


Oxana also has a higher diploma in business studies from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin
